Update from CEO Erin Drahota - April 6, 2020

April 9, 2020 - 8:45am

CAMPUS UPDATE:  As we continue moving through this unprecedented time, the UP Home management team is taking daily advisement and guidance from multiple agencies. With the information we are gathering, please note the following requests for our campus residents:

No Visitors should be allowed into the Main Building or Kerr Hall apartments.

No Loitering in common areas including hallways, lounges, lobbies, etc.

No Gathering in groups of more than two.

Maintain 6 feet of Social Distance between you and anyone you encounter when out of your apartment or cottage

No Passage through Kerr Hall for Main Building residents and vice versa.

Stay on Campus except for essential reasons (food, medicine, outdoor exercise).

We acknowledge the difficulty involved in adhering to these strict social distancing rules. However, we have been very successful in the steps that have been taken so far and we need to sustain that. The virus is expected to peak in the coming weeks, so we all must remain vigilant in our precautions. Please know UP Home staff are being asked to follow these same precautions outside of work as well.

Thank you, and as always, please reach out to the Main Office with any questions, needs or concerns!

Erin Drahota, CEO

P.S. Please join communities around the country in placing hearts on your windows. They are a friendly hello to those who see them and a statement that we care about you.
