Most Health Center employees work every other weekend and have one day off during the week, three shifts are available:

  • 1st Shift Hours are 6 a.m. - 2 p.m
  • 2nd Shift Hours are 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.
  • 3rd Shift Hours are 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.

Various CNA Classes will be held throughout the year. Individuals hired must complete the reading portion of placement test and meet the minimum requirement. All individuals hired understand the upon completion they will placed in a full-time position at the United Presbyterian Home on whichever shift is available at that time. 

Acceptance will be based on interview; class size availability; completion of reading portion of placement test and meet the minimum required score; personal talents for compassion for residents and peers; drive for excellence; ability to work as part of a team and stable work history.
