The United Presbyterian Home has a 59-bed skilled nursing facility located on its campus to provide nursing care for those who are no longer able to care for themselves. The facility serves UP Home Members as well as individuals from Washington and surrounding communities. As a Member of the UP Home you have the peace of mind knowing these services are available for you in a familiar setting when or if that time comes.
A full-time registered nurse is in charge of health services and a professional nurse is always available for consultation and emergencies. The nursing facility wings are connected to the other UP Home resident halls by elevator and stairway. The health care facility is dually licensed as a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF).
